Start your morning at Panda Valley, officially known as the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Conservation and Breeding (Dujiangyan Base). Compared with the city panda base, Panda Valley offers a quieter environment surrounded by mountains and greenery. Observe giant pandas in a more natural setting and learn about panda protection efforts from your guide. Continue to the legendary Dujiangyan Irrigation System, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built more than 2,000 years ago. This remarkable project transformed the Chengdu Plain into one of China’s most fertile regions and continues to function today. Chengdu Culture & Departure | Final Sichuan Memories

Continue to Wuhou Shrine, a historic cultural site dedicated to Zhuge Liang from the Three Kingdoms period.
