Today begins with one of Chengdu’s most unforgettable experiences — meeting giant pandas. Visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where you can observe these beloved animals eating bamboo, playing, and relaxing in a carefully designed environment. Your guide will explain the story behind panda conservation and why this unique animal has become a symbol of China. Continue to Dujiangyan Irrigation System, an extraordinary ancient engineering masterpiece built over 2,000 years ago. Unlike many ancient structures that became history, Dujiangyan continues to control water and support agriculture in the Chengdu Plain today. Enjoy the peaceful scenery around the area before returning to Chengdu.

Day 3

Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou | Journey Into Sichuan’s Natural Paradise

Today you will travel from Chengdu toward one of China’s most breathtaking natural destinations — Jiuzhaigou Valley. The journey takes you through western Sichuan’s dramatic landscapes, where mountains, valleys, and traditional Tibetan communities create a completely different atmosphere from the city. Upon arrival, explore a nearby Tibetan village and experience the unique culture of this mountain region.
